Kid-Friendly Things to Do in Los Angeles

Traveling with kids is one of the best ways to expand their horizons and introduce them to the world beyond their front yard, but it’s also difficult if you don’t know an area before you go.  What if they don’t have kid-fun options?  What if your kid hates it?

Thankfully, there’s no need to worry in Los Angeles!  This city has fun for every member of the family. You’ll want to move the moment you arrive!

Pretend City Children’s Museum

For kids, one of the most frustrating things in life is that everything is built for someone two to three times their height.  Although most kids eventually grow out of this phase, it can be fun to shrink the world down to their level.

Pretend City Children’s Museum allows kids to stop and explore a city that’s sized down to their height and gives them a chance to enjoy trying out a purposeful play that includes role-playing, fun science experiments, and hands-on learning.

This is a fantastic destination for any parents who want to give their kids something fun to do while also inspiring excitement for education and learning.

Knott’s Berry Farm

If you want to reward your kid for being patient while you hunt for houses for rent in Los Angeles: it’s time to head to Knott’s Berry Farm!  This amusement park has everything from rollercoasters to themed rides and fun seasonal events!

In the fall, this park even hosts Halloween fun like hay rides, costume parties, and free candy!  It’s a great event to take your kids to and make a tradition.  Although it can be pricey if you have a large family, it’s worth the cost to see how much fun they’ll have!

Discovery Cube Orange County

Science makes up everything we do and see and helps mold the world into what it is today!  It’s vital that you help foster your child’s interest in science and the natural world as young as possible, and one of the best ways to do that is to visit Discovery Cube in Orange County!

This awesome educational museum focuses on helping kids learn and play at the same time.  With over 100 hands-on exhibits and several special programs, your child will never run out of new things to know and see!

Adventure City

If you love amusement parks, you’ll fall instantly for Adventure City!  Bringing in over 400,000 people every year, this fun park stretches over 2 acres and offers everything from roller coasters to racing and more.  This is a half-day park, meaning if you want to save money and only spend part of the day somewhere before heading to another area, this is a perfect choice!  Just make sure to pack some sunscreen and water since this park can get warm in the summer.

There’s Fun for Every Age in Los Angeles!

Whether your kids are tweens or toddlers, there’s something exciting that will make them fall in love with Los Angeles.  Consider stopping into one of these activities when you’re in town!
